Arizona  Mini  Mystique

Up

We started 2009 on January 3rd, with the Fiesta Bowl Parade in Central Phoenix.  We haven't been in this parade for a few years because it conflicted with the Rose Parade which we were in the previous 2 years.  So we were able to do this big, televised parade this year.

January 18, 2009 - The team put on a driving clinic to expose new drivers and train experienced drivers in driving.  There were 25 horses in the clinic and another 25 people watching.

February 21, 2009 - The team was in the Parada Del Sol in Scottsdale, AZ.

February 24, 2009 - Some of the members drove in the Gold Canyon Parade.

February 28, 2009 - We were in the Lost Dutchman Parade in Apache Junction and had a booth to raise funds for our team and to promote the miniature horse.  We had our raffle horse, Prince Valiant, there.

March 26 - 29, 2009 - Touch of Class Show in Scottsdale.  Mini Mystique did perform twice there.

May 3, 2009 - Black Stallion Literacy Program at Westworld, Scottsdale, AZ - Drill Team will be performing there.

July 9, 2009 - Mini Mystique will be leaving town on June 29, 2009 for a 3-day drive up to Calgary Stampede in Alberta, Canada, to perform daily for 9 days at their big event. We are EXCITED!!

October 3 - 4, 2009 Horse Festival Youth Fair in Queen Creek, AZ.  The team will be performing and doing a demo daily.

December 12 - 13, 2009 Festival of Horses, Westworld - We had a booth at this event again this year and performed twice.

December 27, 2009 to January 2, 2009 - Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA - Our application was accepted,  this will be our 3rd year in this prestigious parade.  We hope to be performing with 12 drivers in the drill patterns by then as well.

Plans are under way for getting to the World Games in Kentucky late in 2010.
